Professional Installation Recommended
As with all decorative tiled surfaces, we strongly recommend installation by an experienced professional tiler.
Correct substrate preparation, setting out, adhesive choice, grout spacing and alignment are all essential to achieving the intended visual finish — particularly where repeating stitch patterns or coordinated designs are being installed across a larger area.
Your installer should always inspect the tiles fully before fixing begins.
Inspect Tiles Before Installation
Please check all tiles carefully upon delivery and prior to installation.
This includes confirming:
the correct designs have been supplied,
quantities are satisfactory,
and no transit damage is visible.
Decorative tiles should also be dry laid where appropriate to ensure pattern placement and directional layout are approved before fixing.
Installation of the tiles is deemed acceptance of the goods supplied, therefore any concerns should be raised with us prior to fitting.
Shade, Print & Dimensional Variation
Due to the decorative and specialist nature of patterned tile production, slight variation in tone, print registration, surface finish or dimensional tolerance may occasionally occur between batches.
This is considered a normal characteristic of artisan-style decorative tile manufacture and contributes to the individuality of the finished installation.
For this reason we recommend:
ordering sufficient quantities at the outset,
blending tiles during installation where appropriate,
and discussing any highly pattern-sensitive layouts with your installer before fixing.
We always recommend allowing additional tiles above your calculated coverage requirement.
This provides allowance for:
cuts,
corners,
wastage during installation,
and the retention of a small number of spare tiles for any future maintenance.
As a general guide, ordering approximately 10% extra is advisable, though more complex layouts may require a greater margin.

Adhesives, Grout & Fixing Materials
All installation materials should be selected by a competent tiler according to the substrate, room type and intended application.
A quality flexible adhesive and suitable grout are generally recommended for most interior decorative tile installations.
Grout colour can have a significant effect on the final appearance of patterned Stitch Tile layouts, so we advise discussing this with your installer before fitting begins.
TileArtMade Tiles or TAM Tiles should be cleaned using only gentle non-abrasive household cleaning products suitable for glazed ceramic surfaces.
Please avoid:
Routine cleaning with a soft cloth or mop and mild detergent will help preserve both colour clarity and surface finish.
Samples & Colour Representation
We make every effort to ensure tile imagery shown online reflects each design as accurately as possible.
However, screen settings, lighting conditions and device displays can alter the perception of colour, scale and finish.
Where available, customers seeking exact colour confirmation are encouraged to enquire about sample options before placing a full order.
Availability & Lead Times
Some Tile designs may be available from current stock, while others may require supplier lead time depending on the collection and quantity requested.
Estimated availability and anticipated delivery timing will always be confirmed as part of your personalised quotation.
We recommend allowing suitable lead time when ordering for scheduled renovation or installation dates.
Upon receipt, tiles should be stored unopened in a dry, secure location until installation.
Boxes should remain level and protected from impact or moisture.
Please inspect your order promptly on arrival and notify us of any visible delivery issues before installation arrangements commence.
